Outsourcing Tip: Careful What You Ask For

One of the most attractive things about the thought of outsourcing jobs in your company is the low pay that will be expended for the same job

. More, some companies claim that they pay less than a fraction of what is normally paid if they were regular employees. Wrong. This is a dangerous way to go, and as the saying goes, be careful what you ask for.

One of the things to watch out for when outsourcing is the price of the bids of applicants. The danger signal is usually spotted quite easily. For example, if your other applicants are bidding for $15 for a certain job that you posted and out of the blue, an applicant or two will bid for the same job at only $2, avoid these like the plague that they really are.

These under bidders generally do this for companies that offer outsourcing work. They usually have a lot of employees under them who may or may not give the quality work that you are looking for. Worst, most of the time, these companies fall short of their promises and you will be left in the lurch. You will have a deadline that cannot be reached and you will lose your money after you lost your precious time.

Some of the companies that complain about lousy work through outsourcing have one thing in common; they hired the company that bid the lowest. Remember, this is a cut throat business for some countries and more and more fly by night freelancers are appearing and disappearing.

These are the bad seeds that other VAs really hate because they lower the rates to such an extent where some work virtually come out as free work, falling short of slavery, and more VAs are becoming more vigilant over their bid prices.

When posting a job on a site where applicants can bid their prices for your job look over them closely and study the bids well before jumping on the chance of less means more. This is usually not the case, and most of the time, companies get disappointed over bad work results, not only that, they get baffled that some companies continue to work with their outsourcing companies and pay well to get the right results.
