Bank clerk exams are held by the respective bank in order to recruit individuals for the post of clerks, who serve as the primary point of contact for most bank customers, administrating basic banking, transactions and answering their queries. For writing bank clerk exams, one must have good mathematical skills and know basic accounting techniques. One should also be well versed with use of computers. Every retail bank employs clerks. Many financial institutions actively recruit bank clerks at community job fairs as well.

PO exams and Bank Recruitment are difficult nuts to crack and must be thoroughly prepared for. For example, if you have to give the exam in 2012, you have to start preparing in 2011 as these posts of clerks, probationary officers are limited in a bank, and bank recruitment is done based on these exams.
