Implement the requirements of the fire fighting system of "Combination of Guard and prevention" principle has marked the automatic fire alarm system will play a more important role. From the 19th century, the 40's to 90's of the 20th century, the development of automatic fire alarm system, from initial product temperature detection technology alarm smoke detection technology came to the success of multi-line system from a traditional alarm system to a late 20th century, 80 intelligent alarm system, 90 appeared late in Europe and the United States of wireless alarm systems and air sample analysis systems, automatic fire alarm system development is toward lower false positive rate and the continued performance of ever-improving trend detection updates and progress. As engineering and technical personnel to the special choice of different works reasonably useful products and technologies to meet project needs, I combine the SECCO project design automatic fire alarm system to talk about this experience for reference.
1 Project Overview
Shanghai Secco 900,000 tons / year ethylene project by the China Petrochemical Corporation, Shanghai Petrochemical Company and British Petroleum? BP? The project covers an area of about 204.14 hectares, estimated to be invested into 160 ~ 18 billion yuan. The company's commitment to the one styrene, polystyrene, polyethylene, three production units and the overall engineering design, procurement and construction services.
2 design
SECCO project draws on some of the foreign engineering experience in a series of instruments for the engineering, control, information management system technical requirements:
(1) the establishment of enterprise local area network? E-LAN? And control of local area network? C-LAN?. Control area network system including the allocation of control? DCS?, Emergency shutdown system? ESD?, Fire and gas detection systems? FGDS?, Safety instrumented systems and power monitoring systems;
(2) project to set up a central control room, in the central control room set up DCS, ESD, FGDS operating stations and auxiliary systems such as human-machine interface stations, installations and public works facilities on the control, operation and management;
(3) equipment and public works facilities will be set up on-site station, site controller is equipped with DCS, ESD process control unit, data acquisition and various cabinets, fire and gas alarm set, using redundant communication cable to the central control room;
(4) fire and gas detection system should be double or triple redundant system, should be independent of the completion of fire and flammable, toxic gas detection, alarm and protection.
Based on these requirements, especially in the setting of other works in general a separate process in the production of flammable and toxic gas detection alarm system in the SECCO project were asked to merge with the fire alarm system to be considered as a system, while SECCO project requirements in all aspects of technology used to reach the international advanced level, etc., I finally chose the programmable logic controller? PLC? and the combination of intelligent fire alarm control system controller as a device on-site programs.
SECCO project a total of 8 sets of devices, each device contains a separate control room, process facilities and field instrumentation, power distribution stations. Different device control systems need to be reserved for the whole plant control LAN communications interface to provide agreement with the local area network links.
