Piano Tuning In New Jersey Brings Hope To Owner Of Dilapidated Piano

Ever since I've been a little girl I've dreamed of having a beautiful piano in my home

. When my husband and I were getting ready to move into our new house, my mother-in-law was kind enough to give us her piano as a belated wedding gift. The only problem is that that this particular piano has been beaten, battered, and is very over due for piano tuning in NJ.

I shouldn't complain. After all, any piano is better than no piano, but I still have to admit that my heart yearns for a beautiful, perfectly in tune piano like the one that I grew up practicing on in my parents' home.

The piano that was given to us has a few issues that can be quite frustrating when I sit down to play. Again, I probably sound pretty spoiled to complain at all, but when I sit down to play the piano it's usually because I'm feeling a need to relax and get away from the stresses of the world. The last thing that I want is to sit down to tickle the ivory and end up more frustrated than when I started.

The first major problem with our piano is that the music stand is broken so it's very difficult to get any music to stay put long enough to get through a song. Some times I feel lucky if I can make it through even a line or a measure.

I've tried several different methods of remedying the problem. Usually this involves using several music books to support and hold up the one that I'm trying to read. You can only imagine the horribly painful sound of my jimmy rigged music stand failing and all of these books falling down onto the keyboard at the same time. It's very jarring.

The other problem with the piano is that some of the keys are very particular about whether they want to be played or not. Some days all the keys will work just fine, and some days I'll discover that I'm missing a few notes. This can be a difficult trial when you're playing in the key of D major and you can't get your F sharp to play.

Even with all of my complaints and frustrations, having a piano that works even a fraction of the time is well worth the struggles that I have. With a piano tuning in NJ and a few adjustments to its body, I think that some day my piano could be as good as new.
