Property Kalkan for Sale, a family owned local real estate, property management and development firm was acquired by Place Overseas of UK as part of a "cash for shares" deal on 15 October 2010. The acquisition is expected to further strengthen Place Overseas" share of Kalkan property management and rentals market and provide the newly acquired firm with a healthy stream of qualified clients looking for quality properties in Kalkan.

As part of the agreement, management of Kalkan Property for Sale based in Kalkan, Turkey will stay in place, overseeing property development, property management and after sale services such as rentals & maintenance contracts, and Place Overseas will strengthen their sales force based in Kalkan in order to cater for increased volume of visitors, mainly from the UK and Nordic countries.
