The screen of a plasma television is constructed of over sixteen million pixels

. Red, blue and green pixel colors are phospors which together make up those pixels you see displayed. Those three colors, in a variety of combinations is what makes up the picture.

Between two glass panels is where the plasma material is found and from where it operates. The millions of pixels make up a tiny images, by way of illuminated flourescent lights made up of the three colors.
