Too Little Too Late
Glunk recently lost an appeal of a $20 million medical-malpractice verdict, which involved the death of a teenager due to complications arising from a liposuction she had undertaken by Glunk. In a recent ruling, Richard Glunk was fined $5,000 in civil penalty, and his license was suspended for at least 60 days during which he has been asked to take classes in professionalism and ethics related subjects. He should have taken these classes years prior. But these sorts of classes should not have to be taken by anyone who is inherently honest.
A Scary Track Record
Liposuction surgery should always be performed under an expert surgeon's supervision, otherwise there can be fatal consequences arising from any kind of complication during the surgery. People should focus and pay attention to the fact that fat remodelling is in fact a surgical procedure that involves several intricacies that can go wrong. Otherwise, people like Richard Glunk who was still practicing and offering free consultations for fat remodelling might get away with what they do. Glunk had been facing disciplinary charges for three different procedures during which the patients were all hospitalized.
