One of the talented directors of bollywood, Dibakar Banerjee is going to present

another interesting story of dark humour which is well-mingled with romance. The movie is named as Shanghai. The movie is the fourth upcoming venture of the director and is expected to do well as it too has a distinctive and exceptional kind of storyline. Shanghai movie is stated to be a dark humour political thriller involving assassination. Dibakar Banerjee is well known for making unusual films which have exceptional storyline and have a power to grab the attention of the viewers. Shanghai seems to be one of the other successful movies after Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and Love, Sex aur Dhokha.

The cast of the movie includes much known celebrities from Bollywood named as Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Pitobash Tripathy, Kalki Koechlin and Farooq Sheikh. Abhay Deol is going to play the lead role in Shanghai movie and is expected to perform well as a lead hero. Another casting member includes Emraan Hashmi who will be paired opposite to Kalki in the movie. The movie based on a great Greek Nobel Vacilis Vacilick in a twisted mode. After winning 2007 Most Promising Director of Khosla Ka Ghosla, Dibakar Banerjee is again ready as a director to accolade himself with another triumph. The genre of the film is categorized under Thriller and Romance. The movie was shot exclusively in Maharashtra. Cyptography is written by Dibakar Banerjee and Urmi Juvekar in an artistic idea which adds twist in the whole storyline.

Shooting for Shanghai started in March and is expected to be completed till the mid of December. According to the schedule of release, the film is expected to be on theatre on 26 January 2012. Starring Emraan Hashmi, the movie is also attracting the audiences with its successful music, directed under most famous music composers and singers Vishal and Shekhar. The storyline of this movie is heightening the Shanghai Rating. Dibakar Banerjee is producing his film under the banner of PVR Pictures. As it is one of the most common tricks to get attention of the media before releasing the film, movie Shanghai is in news as a controversial issue of the director related to the casting which has seized immense attention from the media and the people.
