Prepaid Legal Training: The Good, the Bad, And the Ugly

In this article I will go over the Prepaid Legal Training system and give you a clear picture of how the company operates it's marketing strategy. If you have no prior business or Multilevel Marketing experience this is a very important article for you to read. If you do have prior business and/or MLM experience, it is important that you do your homework before starting a new venture with any company. So what is the Prepaid Legal Training system and how much success are most PPL Reps having with it?

First, I want to say that the training that Prepaid offers is quite impressive compared to most other MLM opportunities that I have encountered. In every major city around the country, PPL holds weekly business meetings and training sessions. I consider the standard training quite good due to the fact it is so consistent and professional. The company also puts on what it calls "Super Saturdays" every month in most major metropolitan areas. These trainings feature some of the top producers in the company nationwide. Names like Brian Curruthers, Darnell Self, and Jeff Olson are some of the most prominent speakers at these events. On top of that, they put on team training calls that are held every Sunday and Wednesday evening.

With such a great traning system you would think that it would be almost impossible to fail with Prepaid. But unfortunately, this is not the case for a majority of new and existing associates.

So the next question is.....WHY? Well, the answer is pretty simple.

What the Prepaid Legal Training system does a great job of is convincing the crowd that their success lyes in simply exposing prospects to company tools such as CD's and magazines. Just like every other MLM company in existence, exposing your warm market is how to begin your road to financial freedom. No matter how great a job a company does of convincing their organization of following the traditional methods of marketing, they cannot change the fact that most will never have any real success.

The causes of this is no secret.

First, most decide to enter the the MLM industry on a purely emotional level. They are attracted to successful leaders within the industry and have no clue as to what they will have to endure to become a top producer. In short, they are followers and not leaders.

Second, most begin in the business with an employee mindset and have no clue as to how hard they must work to build a business. ANY business.

So the bottome line is, simply handing out company tools is not going to lead you to success with any business opportunity in existence. If that were the case, the company would just mail out copies to everyone and forget about paying commisions to the Reps it does'nt need.

There is no way to bypass the price that you must pay to become a leader and ultimately enjoy the fruits of financial freedom. Marketing is the business were in so it's marketing you must master. Expecting to gain financial success in marketing before mastery would be just as crazy as walking into a martial arts gym and expecting to be handed your blackbelt before you have even taken your first lesson.
