Participating in forums specific to your niche is also a good way to get traffic to your blog. Register for 2 or 3 of the top forums and start interacting by posting your own material and responding to other members' posts. Now I realize that blogging is not for everyone, but it is free and it's a good way to get some exposure for your product or website. If you are able to continually update your blog with quality content, you will start to rank higher in the search engines and you will attract and keep more readers, which in turn will help to drive more traffic to your website.
