Ideally, when you considering promoting a certain Clickbank product, you want to make sure that one of the only ways for a potential buyer to leave a page is through a "buy now" link. Pages with a large number of outs cut down on your affiliate commissions.
Next, let's talk about opt-in boxes. Opt-in boxes are the most conspicuous forms of page outs. An opt-in box is usually placed on a sales page so that the vendor, or seller, can capture the email addresses of people who have visited the sales page. Another out to look for is a "contact me/email" link. These allow the buyer to contact the seller directly. Again, they take the affiliate out of the loop. Lastly, look at the page content for text links and images. Sometimes the seller will put their own affiliate links on their sales page for added revenue.
