As a Filipino kid, I came to love the Japanese culture through watching anime

. I dreamed of experiencing their traditional and modern culture first hand. I know that many people are also fascinated in their culture.

One actual way to experience their culture, whether in Japan or not, is to practice some of their customs, such as eating their food and acquiring their fashion sense. You can do this also by following one of their traditional practices and use it in your daily life, particularly in making yourself safe all or most of the time.

A very traditional part in their culture is ninjas, I'm sure everyone is familiar with it. You've probably seen countless ninja concepts in Japanese films and animations with their weapons such as shuriken or throwing stars, swords and gas bombs. Throwing starts are the little steel weapons that look like a little star with sharp edges which you throw at your opponent.

I'm pretty sure that some of you are interested or secretly wishing to be ninjas. BUT, swords would be difficult to carry around and gas bombs aren't that practical to use because you might also inhale the gas if you are not that careful.

So, the best thing is to carry are Ninja throwing stars! Throwing stars are fun to play and practice with. Be in connection with the kid in you and actually be able to protect yourself.

Throwing stars are more fun to practice with than to actually use for self defense. But, who knows! Maybe you will discover the hidden Ninja in yourself.
