Psychic Self Defense; How to Shield Yourself from Unwanted Energies and Influences

Surely, you have had the experience of being around someone and then after you feel completely drained of all of your energy. This type of person is known in metaphysics as an energy vampire. They are a negative thinker, filled with bad energy and false/limited beliefs. Many times they are very jealous of other people's success, because they don't perceive they can achieve the same type of things if they would put their energy into constructive directions. They have something negative to say about the world and everyone in it.

The first thing you should do when you encounter this type of person is go the other way. Many times though, I have found, they don't show that side of themselves at first. Many times they lure you in by feeling sorry for them. They can be very manipulative, and they hide their real self at first.

To protect yourself, from these type of negative people and the potentially unwanted influence they might have on your life and affairs, I recommend the following:

As a preventative, firmly build in your consciousness "I only draw good people that love me into my life and are in harmony with my highest good." Say this allot! You can write it, you can say in your mind while you are doing daily chores that don't require much thought.

If you feel that you already have someone in your life like this, take spiritual baths to cleanse away any negative energy. I recommend that you use salt from the Dead Sea with a cap full of hyssop or sage oil in the bath water. When you want to come out of the tub, pull the plug and allow all the water to drain, as the water drains feel all this heavy negative energy from within yourself to be sucked down the drain with the water. This is very powerful for cleansing your own energy as well (sometimes we can be our own worst enemy).

Get a lemon, tin foil, and a small piece of paper. Write their name on the piece of paper. Slit the lemon with big knife, big enough slit to insert the paper with their name. Insert paper with their name. Wrap it up in tin foil and freeze it. This technique comes from Italy, it will not bring any harm to them. It will stop them from having any negative influence or power to hurt you either spiritually or physically. It is very simple, but extremely powerful.

I have found that we already are perfect so what we more have to do is to remove the blocks in our consciousness that block our natural light from shinning. It is like Michael Angelo said, "he didn't sculpt anything, he just removed the excess."

Once we have all the blocks cleared out, our life naturally becomes very happy and prosperous. Things come very easily. We enter what is now called the "flow of life." Jesus described it as the "kingdom of heaven." David called it the Secret Place of the Most High. It is the place of life where life is very simple our desires come to us very easily and we have inner and outer fulfillment.

The idea, heaven is a place where we go to after we die, is not biblical. Jesus said, (Mathew 4:17) "the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
