Qmi Security Solutions Celebrates Its 16th Year As The North American Alulux Shutter Partner

, Germany was founded in 1960 and is one of the leading worldwide producers of roll formed aluminum roller shutters. QMI Security Solutions, Itasca, Illinois, USA, has been the Alulux North American partner since 1996. QMI is the authorized specialist dealer on account of regular practical training, as stated on the 2011 Alulux certificate provided to QMI.

QMI fabricates Alulux CD78 and CD900 Security Grilles for all North American installations. The CD 78 series is designed for the high levels of security where visibility is still required. CD 78 is 3' 1/8" tall by 3/4" deep. Each punched opening is 3 1/2" x 1 1/2". PVC inserts are included for noise reduction. These window security gates have optional polycarbonate inserts and steel inserts for added security.

The CD 900 window security grilles series is designed for those applications that require standard security grilles. CD 900 series is 3 7/8" tall by 1/2" deep. CD 900A has a mesh spacing of 4" and the CD 900B has a mesh spacing of 2.

QMI rolling grilles are not limited to the Alulux CD series. QMI also fabricates its own line of solid and vision shutters, incorporating Alulux components into the shutters. From the top of the line clear polycarbonate Transparoll shutters, to shutters with the P51 inch square perforations, QMI shutters offer maximum protection with maximum vision into the storefronts of their partner retailers. The vision slats enable nighttime merchandising and do not cover up window and store signage when in full protect mode. All of the QMI security grilles roll up into a box housing either recessed into a ceiling or mounted to storefront mullions with color matched housings.

QMI security grilles takes full advantage of German engineering plus German components blended by American engineers and manufacturing to create a full line up of security and hurricane protection equipment. Some of QMIs shutters have the smallest roll up diameters in the world and can fit a 5M (16.7 ft.) tall shutter with 32 total square meters (334 sq. ft.) into just a 200mm (8) box housing. It is truly the best in its class.
