In Japan,electrical connectors are made with single cavity molds and the three holes are fabricated by staff afterward. In order to decrease costs and increaseelectrical connector's production capability, DDK LTD. asked for one-time fabrication using a Double Cavity Mold and at the same time adding three holes on thecircular connectors. All of the Japanese mold designers thought that was impossible at that time. To meet the request,Accucision Diecast engineers spent days to design a suitable double cavity mould.

In the end,Accucision Diecast engineers added three inner sliding blocks on the mold to meet the hole requirement on thecircular connectors. DDK LTD. was thrilled and surprised to see the result of thecircular connectors, which met their requirements and the quality, was excellent. After testing and confirming the mould and connector quality, DDK LTD. ordered more than 70,000electrical connectors in four months to make up for the shortage from previous months.
