RC Tank Wars - Getting Started

In order to participate in RC tank wars you will require the right tanks such as

those using infrared bullets which also offer momentum simulation and super spin features. RC tanks such as the David's Battle Circuits (DBC) and the David's Battle Unit (DBU) which is an IR detector and hit indicator are great for tank wars. Both of these are available in kit form which offers great fun in assembling and engaging in combat. As a beginner in combat RC tanks, you may find these tips useful in enabling you to get started with your RC tank wars.

When doing battle with the DBC, you will first need to press the K button which will fire the battle system. Thereafter, the DBC will prevent the firing of more shots until the reload period has elapsed. This period is normally determined by the weight setting of the tank. If you press the button rapidly, you may think that you got out 2 shots, when only one actually fires. When the LEDs light up briefly, this indicates a hit and the tank will not be able to fire at this time.

Once the tank takes one hit, it will slow down to roughly half its normal speed. After taking several hits, and depending on its weight, the tank may slow down to approximately a quarter of its speed. After taking full damage and depending on its weight, the LEDs on the tank will light up and stay on to signal destruction. Thereafter, the tank engine will shutoff and the headlights will blink. After a couple of seconds, the tank will start up again. Once the start up is complete, the LEDs will turn off and your tank will be able to move again. Depending on its weight, the tank may also be invulnerable for a short period of time.
