that mainly transmits the identity of a person or an object through radio waves. RFID devices mainly come under the category of automatic identification technologies.

There are three main components of a basic RFID system:
An antenna or coil: the main task of an antenna or coil is to transmit radio signals to activate the information tag and easily transfer the needed data.
A transceiver: This device mainly receives the radio waves in different ranges on the basis of its power output and frequency of radio signals. The same device is also responsible for decoding the received data in the tag's integrated circuit in order to pass on the information to its host.
A transponder: The device has a portable device or the tag' which plays a crucial role in sending and receiving messages and further can be processed as per the needs of a particular application.
