A Rackmount LCD is a rugged display device which is a cost effective and space saving solution to manage data in various environments. Attached to server racks, this device is housed in a sturdy metal frame. It has regularly spaced holes that correspond with the holes in the steel bars of the racks so that it can be securely attached. Some models are also available in a flip up design and integrated into a sliding drawer allowing the unit to remain open even when the rack door is closed.

Available in screen sizes ranging from 17" to 22", the Rackmount monitor can be 1U, 2U, 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U or 10U frame depending on the size of the rack LCD needed. The models can also be classified depending upon the type of video input such HDMI, DVI, S-Video, VGA, Composite BNC and so forth. Classification can also be on the basis of features such as short or shallow depth and sunlight readable LCDs. While the short depth LCD can fit in a non-standard server rack, the sunlight readable LCD is used in environments where video monitoring is required in high brightness environments, such as kiosks.

Position, V. Position, Phase, Scaling, Auto config, Input select, Multi window, Clear EEPROM, OSD adjust and Save. They support resolutions ranging from 1024 x 768 up to 1600 x 1200 and 12V, 24V and 48V DC power options are also available.

These are fixed with ball bearing telescopic slides to give that special effect. The adjustable mounting brackets can vary from 15.3 inches to 33.2 inches. They do have aluminum front panel which is a lightweight and gives a black anodize finish it has a built in VGA / DVI-D input connector. The rails are locked out to prevent the free movement of the keyboard.
