Real Estate Brokers/Agents: Throwing Tons of Cash Away!
As an insurance agent for the last 13 years I've depended on the thoughtfulness of many real estate agents to drive business my way so I could bang out the homeowners policy for the client. And possibly diversify those clients to auto and life policies. If you don't know how insurance agents get paid, we make about 10-15% of each policy we write. And we make that every time the policy renews, also known as residual income. Recently I started a second business that would allow me to get paid on my customer's telecommunications services and utilities. But it occurred to me from many meetings with people in my organization that the best people in a position to offer these services are the real estate agents. I met all these real estate agents who were able to stop selling homes because they had gained enough clients. And were making residual income off their client's telecommunications services and passive income off others they had brought into their organization. And were now making Six and Seven figures a year!
Still as an insurance agent, I saw the business as a perfect fit. I could refer my clients to my clean well designed website to choose from all best mobile phones on the market from all the leading providers. They could also get Satellite TV, Home Security, High Speed Internet, Digital Phone Service, and right down to Local and Long Distance.
On top of that they had services with no competition like their latest Video Phone! No competition when you consider price, quality and ease of use.
And it gets better. The company is currently preparing to launch an Energy option (Gas & Electricity). For residential and commercial. Will be available to customers in the U.S. sometime April 2011. The incredible thing is that many reps have hit six and seven figures off just telephone services. And took maybe 3-5 years. Think about how much you pay for your phone and then think about how much you pay for your utilities. The window of time required is about to be cut right in half!
Think out this, you probably have most, if not all, of these services. Why wouldn't you want to get paid back part of what you're paying on your bills? On top of that, I didn't need to sell you on some new overpriced vitamin, juice or consumable that needs to be bought over and over. You are already paying for these services, every month, year after year.
As I said before Real Estate Agents are perfectly positioned to target these customers. Who better to offer these services than someone who has gained the trust of their client. The client that now has the keys to their new home and needs new services for their new home.
