Real-world Self Defense - There's No Such Thing As A Fair Fight When It Comes To Saving Your Ass!

Somewhere along the way, we inherited some sort of sick sense of "fair play" when

it comes to warfare! It may have come from the English, the French, who knows.

But, I do know that your attacker in a real street attack is counting on you being the "fair fighter" - so he doesn't have to be! In this article, I'm going to give you several REALLY good reasons to NOT fight fair - no matter what your mommy taught you when you were a kid!

Are there "fair fights?" Ever?

Of course.

They're called sporting events, like boxing, MMA, and the kind you find in karate competitions.

In these fights, there is so much going on behind the scenes to make sure that the fight is "fair" - that means that it's even, and that the better competitor will win. From the pre-established rules, to weight classifications and everything else... these so-called "fights" are as far from real street fighting as you can get.

Here are some really good reasons to not fight "fair" in a self defense situation. Each "reason" is tied to one of the twisted "rules" that we were taught so that we could be the "better person" - the "righteous one."

Screw that!

If you don't want to take a chance that you will...

* Never see your loved ones again

* Be able to eat normally and not take your meals through a tube for the rest of your life

* Have the full functioning of your brain, eyes, and all your limbs

* Etc.

Then I suggest that you pay attention and keep these points in mind when you are unleashing the fury of Hell on anyone who goes out of their way to do harm to you or someone you've chosen to protect!

1) Don't let him give up or "cry Uncle." As long as he can get at you - he's a threat! Never forget that your assailant will lie, cheat, and take advantage of your "compassionate heart" to win! And, you better be able to stay focused on the realities of the situation you're in if you are going to be able to neutralize that threat!

2) Don't give him any benefit or leeway. If he's wearing glasses, you know where to punch? That's right... hit his glasses! And while you're at it, don't forget to bite, spit, kick his nuts, stick your finger in his eye - whatever it will take to stop him and drop him! Remember, the fight was unfair when this dirt-bag chose YOU as a target - because he saw you as the underdog and an easy mark! And, never forget that!

3) As soon as YOU'RE ready - GO! You don't wait until he's ready. If he's not ready, and he's close to you with intent in his eyes, or already has his weapon out or in view - it's "go time!" He's not going to wait for you. In fact, it's in his best interest to jump you before you even know you're in danger. So... if he starts something but isn't ready, or if you've knocked him down or off-balance... GO AGAIN!

4) Hit him or apply your techniques until nothing else is needed. When you counter-attack, make sure he can't! That means that you don't stop hitting him after the first strike or kick. And, you certainly don't stand over him, gloating, after you've put him down with your cool wrist lock. Remember... this is NOT your training partner from class. If you give this guy an opening, regardless of whether it's your groin, face, or anything else... he'll take it!

5) Always bring a bigger weapon. You know the old joke about "bringing a knife to a gunfight?" Right? Well, make sure that you're the one with the bigger, "better" weapon. The rule for "use of force" within the law enforcement world, is doing "the minimum necessary to effect control." This has nothing to do with "doing a lot with a little." It has everything to do with having the advantage. And, if you want it, you're going to have to do what you must to take it!
