Independence Day is a holiday celebrated all over the United States every fourth day of July

. It is also a popular summer event. Most celebrations for Independence Day happen in the parks or fields. It is a non-working holiday so most government offices are not open that day. The cities and towns in the United States celebrate it with carnivals, baseball games, parades and a display of fireworks.

1. One of the answers to the question, why do we celebrate the 4th of July is the fact that the people wanted to have a day to honor the heritage of the United States. It is the main event that remembers the history of the nation as well as the legacy of the American ancestors.
