Reasons why moving to the USA was brilliant for our new office

The simple reason was, I was so pleased and undeniably happy with where I was living currently.

We had an incredible home, a perfect family car and a joyous life that was wonderful compared to some people.

I wondered if I would miss having easy access to my family unit and visiting any time that I could. There was going to be insignificant things to miss too such as sausage sandwiches with brown sauce, a typical british fry-up with extra bread, the post office where they would always be read to save my mail for me and the local baker who baked the best fresh bread on a Sunday.

I couldn't use these little things though as excuses too much longer because though they will always have a special place in my heart and we had to move soon though to take advantage of the US office markets very favourable pricing. I decided enough was enough and got my family together to tell them that we were moving to an office in the US, at first they were upset but understood that we couldn't let nostalgia get in the way of the business growth.

To make sure there was no difficult transition, I ensured we had a lot of moves in place before we even landed, this was very reassuring to the children knowing they would be in a school that was very understanding about them moving away from a country they were happy in and consequently would need more help and guidance at first. We then decided together that this was the best thing for us and that helped the children to understand why we were moving.

We are now fully moved in and we are now in the US. I will now tell you why it was a great move for us and the best thing about living in the US.

1) The food is lush here. I was at first sad to leave behind English food, you have to experience the food here it really is amazing in the US. I am now able to eat in world famous restaurants that make people feel like kings and queens and have food that is unrivalled in the parts of England that I have lived.

2) The offices are cool. We decided in the end to take Columbus office space and that was a very wise decision. Our key facilities are in one place such as great parking spaces, speedy internet and a conference room that leave clients stunned.

3) You get treated better by people. Though we do have the novelty factor of being an English family with cute accents, the people here respond to us so much better than back home, they are much warmer and friendlier. You will find that when you are shopping you get the special treatment regardless how much you are spending in the store.

That was only a few reasons why making the move to the US was positive and now we don't miss England at all.
