Registered Sex Offenders Are Required To Register With Their State When They Move

Share: If it comes to registered sex offenders and you want your child or children to be
protected you should always look up the registry online and make sure that there are not any near where you live. I am a new parent and I do not want to live near any sex offenders. I think it is a scary situation but at the same time it may not be the fault of the person who is a registered sex offender.
Sometimes registered sex offenders can be innocent if they are young but with a person who is younger then the age of being a legal adult. For instance if a man or woman is eighteen and they are messing around with someone that is sixteen or seventeen then this can be considered statutory rape and could result in the person having to register as a sex offender.
I would not take any chances with a sex offender and I would always assume that they are actual sex offenders no matter what they tell you. IF they are registered then they are still considered by law to be offenders. I would not trust to let my son outside to play or even to get on the bus if I knew that there was a sex offender in my area.
Sex offenders can target a child that is newborn all the way up to the age of sixteen or seventeen. Some states have passed a law that makes the age of consent to be sixteen. I think I am neutral on the idea that the age of sixteen or seventeen is a good age to consent to sex with someone that is older.

Share: I personally think that it is disgusting for an older man or woman to want to be with someone that is very young. I think they should stick with someone that is near their age. Most people that are older try to get with younger people because they think it makes them feel younger but in all reality it is a very sick thing.
A lot of registered sex offenders have been killed because people do not like them living near them or in their neighborhood at all. If you have any small children or even older child that are not legally an adult, I would check online for the sex offenders registry. This is free information and every sex offender is required by law to register with the state if they are to move.
If sex offenders do not register within a certain time then they can be arrested and put into prison. It is hard for the law to keep up with all the sex offenders because there are a lot of them in the united states and even in other countries. But they try to keep up with them so that they can keep children safe.
No matter what you do you should always check the registered sex offenders list (even if you do not have small children) because you have a right to know what kind of people that you have living close to you. If you are moving it is important to check this registry especially if you have any children or even just a child.
