Teenagers learn to enjoy a sober life through the positive impact of letting go of their stresses in life in this particular program.

Family Therapy

Family involvement is an important factor in treating alcohol addiction in teens. According to the California Society of Addiction Medicine, since teenagers are typically residing with their families they need a strong family connection to have successful treatment. Family therapy will improve the communication between family members including the teen addict. This will help in maintaining a healthy family relationship and impacts greatly on teen sobriety.

Dual Diagnosis

Dual Diagnosis is an occurrence of an addiction to a certain substance coupled with a mental disorder. This makes the problem of alcoholism to teens more difficult. According to statistics, about 80% of all alcoholic teenagers have co-existing mental condition. Treatment should be addressed to both issues to make treatment effective.
