Color plays a very big role when it comes to a child psychology

. Children react and respond to colors very well. Color is the first thing that children can distinguish. People usually think that children can only see black and white when they are born and as a child but from the time they are born and till they reach six months lot of changes takes place. They can differentiate between colors and red is the first color that they start to recognize and after that comes the other brighter colors.

Bright colors attract little children. Till the age of 10 red, pink and yellow are mostly their favorite colors but once they cross the age of 10 mostly blue becomes their favorite color. Experts consider as the part of growing up and fact that they having the ability to perceive different hues. Gender also plays a big role when it comes to color. Like little girls prefer pink or violet whereas boys prefer a darker shade like blue or black. Even while buying toys color plays a major role and the toys manufacturer knows this very well. Toys manufacturer use color as their main tool to sell their products are they also understand the childrens color preferences. One great way to manipulate children as well as teenagers is through colors. There are various different ways to use colors to manipulate the child psychology to achieve the result. Colors can also be used to teach and motivate as well. Usually kids learn to perceive colors at first they might not know how to pronounce the name but can point to the right objects. For e.g. like for yellow the kid might point out lemon, banana or the sun and for red they usually start associating it with apples at first. Once the child learns to recognize the colors and their name then it helps them learn some new information slowly. Colors help enhance the children psychology.

One important thing that you should remember about the human brain is that anything that is marked with the combination of yellow and black or when the human eyes see this color combination the brain immediately perceives that as a sign of danger. So if parents dont want their kids to touch something they can mark that area with yellow and black. Research has also shown that for those children who have attention problems use of colors while teaching them can prove to be very useful. Therefore color plays a very important role in children psychology.
