Relationships Vs. Social Sites
Just about everybody I know has had or still has a facebook, or myspace, or on of the many other social sites out there. I read an article the other day (sorry not sure where I read it to quote), but it made a comment like one in five divorces in the United States involved a facebook or another social site. I thought that was rather sad to say the least.
I can imagine that if your partner or boyfriend or girlfriend for that matter, is going to cheat on you the social sites might make it easier but is it really their faults. I don't think so. And yeah, you can "spy" on them and see who they are talking to or question the latest comment graphics on their pages. But come on people you're leaving a "digital" trail here of your misdeeds. Are you misplacing the trust that someone else had in you? The smartest thing would be not to do it in the first place. Especially if that other person is important to you and you want to keep them in your life.
I know many couples and have had conversations with them, some who aren't married yet, who say they get jealous sometimes reading the others status or what comments somebody of the opposite sex put on their page. They even admit it makes them wonder what they are up to. Well my suggestions would be , if you don't trust them loose them , talk to them, or get a personal private site to share with only the two of you. Maybe even agree to delete the individual accounts and or share just one jointly. Lets every body know you are a couple. But why put yourself in a position you know will eventually lead to a fight.
The internet has made many people friends that might not have otherwise met. For some it has found the love or your life. Use the social sites wisely, be careful of what you say or do and how it will effect others and most of all have fun. Just remember what is more important in your relationships. Love U Sites
