Renault Duster Launch In India Slated For July 4th

Duster but it seems that UK will get the compact SUV prior to India. Fresh reports suggest that Renault Duster will be launched in India on July 4, 2012, it is definitely one of the most awaited SUVs in India. As per the information received the launch in UK is fixed on the auspicious occasion of Goodwood festival of speed that will be celebrated from June 28 to July 1st.

Our source close to development also revealed that bookings for Duster in UK will commence from June 28th only at a pre booking amount of 100. However, the delivery of Renault Duster will begin from early next year, looking at the delivery date we can say that Indian customers will have the privilege of getting the delivery of Duster sooner than UK customers. India is also awaiting the launch of its first compact SUV, Renault Duster which will be priced competitively and could trigger a price war in the SUV segment of the domestic segment.

Renault Duster India bound SUV will be manufactured at the company"s Chennai plant and the car makers will also start exporting the SUV to overseas market also. Yet another compact SUV, Ford EcoSport will be launched later in 2013. Duster too was expected to launch in the month of September or October but the company advanced the launch of Duster in India. Renault Duster is the very first compact SUV that India will soon be getting. This new SUV will be placed below SUVs like Tata Safari and Mahindra Scorpio. Just like Maruti Ertiga, Duster too will also introduce a new segment in the Indian car market.

Renault Duster price in India will be affordable, the SUV will offer ample features and good performance. Renault Duster SUV will be launched in engine options like, petrol and diesel. Renault Duster will be the fourth product from the French auto maker in India, before this Renault launched Renault Fluence, Renault Koleos and Renault Pulse in India.

Duster SUV which will be launched in UK will come affixed with a Dacia badge which again is owned by Renault. Renault would give the entry level sedans a run for their money. It will come with an affordable price tag which is going to be the major attraction for the Indian buyers. Renault on the other hand is claiming that Duster will come with "Shockingly Affordable" price tag. Renault is banking big time on Duster, it expects to generate volumes in India as until now Renault has not been able to make any strong mark in India therefore it has come up with an affordable SUV.Few other compact SUVs are coming to the Indian car market which includes Ford EcoSport, Maruti XA Alpha etc. After the launch of these SUV in India, the Indian customers will have ample options in compact SUV segment.
