It may be hard work, but just imagine you are paying yourself instead of paying a workman, and you will soon feel better about the effort going into the job. An electrical wholesaler will have all the components you will need for central heating, wiring the house, cooking and showers for the bathroom. When renovating, you will find that the majority of the bits and bobs you will need will be for electrics. Fixings, fuses, plug sockets, light switches, wires, cables, vents and enclosures are all accessories that can be bought at an electrical wholesaler as well as the bigger things on your list such as storage heaters. Bear in mind that it is actually illegal to remove anything from a skip without the consent of the person who hired it, so knock on the door, ask the builder or leave a note if you have seen something you really want.
