Our theatres are unlike most you will find in New York. They are in a beautiful, well-maintained art deco building with a rich history. Our patio and studio theatre offer multiple spaces that are perfect for the additional needs of film/tv shoots. The seating is intimate and comfortable.
Our theatre is located in the heart of Broadway on 37th street between Seventh and Eight avenues. We are tucked away on a quiet street that is home to the film industry studios, sound engineers, special effects labs, film vaults. At night, free street parking is ample.
Rental Rates
The Theatre will be rented to individuals, businesses and organizations based on a rate schedule approved by the Board of Directors. The rental rate structure, effective January 1, 2009, is included at the end of this section.
Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit fee of $250.00 will be required to hold a date on the Theatre calendar. This fee will be refunded if cancellation occurs 120 days in advance of the scheduled date. Cancellation must be made with written notification. The balance of the base rental fee will be required no later than forty-five days in advance of the event date. Cancellation of the date after this point will result in forfeiture of the entire base rental deposit.
Booking
At the discretion of the Board of Directors, requests for rental of the Theatre may be denied if the proposed event presents a potential conflict to the market target of a previously scheduled event or an event that is not considered in the best interest of the theatre. Criteria include market saturation of a particular event type, the long-term relationship of existing Theatre clients and the image or financial impact on the Theatre.
Events requiring security may not be appropriate for this venue and approval will be at the discretion of the theatre manager and board of directors.
Labor
To ensure the protection of all in-house equipment and the professional presentation of events, the Theatre requires that the client utilize the house maintenance and technical staff of the Theatre for their event. Any expense for labor incurred by the Theatre shall be billed to the client per the rates described at the end of this document.
Cleanup and Damage Deposit
Clients will be charged a deposit of $200. Cleanup will be provided by theatre staff at a minimum charge of $100. Additional charges, if any required, will be deducted from this deposit.

Decide before hand what size of a room you need. The smaller the room the less the cost, so if you only have a three person cast, a 10 by 10 foot room would be fine.

Step 3
Once you have compared and contrasted prices and sizes, you can book the space you want over the telephone if your desired time is available. You may have to start an account with your credit card; so have it ready.
