If you're like me, you had barely even heard of the original Tron when the sequel hit theaters in recent months. The (apparently) legendary movie has drawn quite an enthusiastic crowd for the sequel, and I'm proud to say that I saw it and enjoyed it quite thoroughly. A lot of businesses would like to be on the Tron bandwagon, and your Reston Audi dealer is one of the few lucky ones to actually grab itself a seat on the high-flying action-packed ride. The movie, starring Jeff Bridges, is a great family flic with tons of action for the typical movie goer, featuring wild stunts and acrobatics in addition to plenty of CGI-generated special effects. Visually, this movie was on par with Avatar, the highly overrated and extraordinarily preachy flic recently produced by James Cameron. Tron: Legacy wrapped itself up pretty well, with a lot of the bright shiny stuff that today's movie-going audience loves so much. Unfortunately, this car won't exactly be on the roadwellever. But it's a great display piece as Audi drives ahead in the market over the 2011 sales year. We've already seen a lot of good things coming out of the Audi camp, and an electric car is another one of those good things. Bringing Tron into the picture? Marketing excellence. A movie with the massive appeal of Tron is sure to bring a lot of extra attention to the Audi brand, who have experience in aligning themselves with popular brands. Tron's universal appeal helps spread the Audi name with some extra zest, and your Reston Audi dealership is already fielding requests about the unusual but spectacular car.

CES 2011 was a great venue to help spread the word. With some of the biggest names in consumer electronics represented, this year's CES helped introduce us to another new era in technological advancement.
