The RGB to DVI Converter converts RGB video signals into DVI-D format

. The converted signals are then relayed over multi mode fiber to a distance of 1000 meters. This device supports video formats up to 108 MHz. By converting the analog video signals into a compatible digital format, it makes the connection between RGB and DVI work. The device operates on plug and play functionality and all connections are made on the rear of the unit. The converter needs to be placed in a manner so that the front panel display and buttons are visible as they may be required for system set up. This product is available in two versions, the AIC-1 which converts an RGB source into two DVI-D signals and the AIE-1, which converts the signals and also extends them over multi mode fiber. The latter is available with SC or ST type fiber connectors. RGB to DVI conversion devices support a RGB video resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz and have a power consumption of 8 Watts.
