Rift Warrior Guide Find Out The Secrets Of The 8 Warrior Souls In Rift!

In this article we will be looking at Warriors and in particular the 8 Warrior souls and how to use them effectively.

The main role of a Warrior in Rift is a tank and damage dealer just like in other games. The unique thing to remember about the Warrior is that they are the only calling to wear plate armour and they have mastery over all weapons as well.

Warriors can use 1 handed weapons, 2 handed weapons and shields as well as having the ability to dual wield as well.

Warriors are all about power and you also have attack points to power up their abilities.

The key is making sure that you have 3 full attack points on your abilities before using them as this will make them hit harder and do more damage.

Rift Warrior Guide The Souls

You can get 9 different souls for the Warrior at the time of writing and the first one we are going to talk about is:

Soul Guide For Warrior Beastmaster

This soul allows you to use pet skills on top of your normal abilities. You can summon your own pets via spells and it can be quite a tricky class to get to grips with.

If you want to tackle PVP with the Warrior you may want to give this class a miss because it will not allow you to scale as well as the other souls.

Soul Guide For Warrior Champion:

You will see plenty of Warriors with this soul class and it allows you to have the ability raging bull.

One thing worth noting about this class is that you get 5% extra damage and all you need is 4 points in Champion.

Not for everyone this class but I would say it is the standard!

Soul Guide For Warrior Riftblade

This class deals alot of its damage via magic! Strange for a Warrior! The good thing is that if you have a DPS you can really help out with this class.

Soul Guide For Warrior Paragon:

This is a DPS oriented soul and it is good if you like to fight close or at range as it can deal out a lot of damage with either.

Next we have Paladin and they make excellent tanks. If you want to go after single targets then you should play as a Paladin as they dish out a huge amount of damage.

Likewise the next class Reaver is really good at AoE so if you don't want to take on single enemies like the Paladin above and want to focus on AoE attacks then this is the one to consider.

Void Knight is good for fighting against magic enemies and is focused on draining mana from the enemies.

Not that brilliant a class but if you are fighting casters bring one along with you in your group and you will thank them!

Soul Guide For Warrior Warlord:

Despite the name "Warlord" this is the most defensive class and it mainly focuses on buffing other players.

Soul Guide For Warrior Vindicator:

Vindicator is the PVP Soul and you have to unlock this one!

You can also get this via prestige and you will need to kill other players to earn it.
