ROBERT PATTINSON (height 1.85m), was born May 13

, 1986 in London, England. Robert attended Tower House School and Harrodian School. He has two older sisters, Lizzy and Victoria. Growing up he was talented sportsman, playing many sports (from football and athletics to skiing). He also had a taste for music, excellent musician playing guitar and keyboards.

Robert started acting when he was 15. Then he moved on and joined the Barnes Theatre Company and took on roles in plays such as Macbeth, Anything goes and Tess of the D'Urbevilles.

His first film role was as Giselher in Ring of the Nibelungs. Then he took on the role of Rawdy Crawley in the movie with Reese Witherspoon - Vanity Fair.

In 2003, Robert landed roles, which he is known for: Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Toby Jugg in The Haunted Airman and Daniel Gale in The Bad Mother's Handbook. There are also famous roles after that, like Richard in The Summer House, Art in How To Be, and Salvador Dali in Little Ashes.

In 2005, Robert was named British Star of Tomorrow by Times online, and since than we could expect much more of him in future. In May 2005, he was slated to appear in the UK premiere of The Woman Before at the Royal Court Theatre, but was fired shortly before start and was replaced by Tom Riley.

In 2008, Robert was the choice for Edward Cullen, in the movie Twilight, based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, and in that movie he also got a chance to make two soundtrack songs: Never Think and Let Me Sign. In that year he was also rewarded with New Hollywood Award and the Best Actor Award at the Strasbourg Film Festival for his role in How To Be.

In late 2008, Robert was announced to continue Edward Cullen role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which should began filming in March 2009.

In 2009, Robert won more awards such as: Best Actor Award for his role in How To Be in First Glance Film Festival, Bravo A-List Breakout Award for same movie, Best Male Breakthrough Performance, Best Kiss and Best Fight for role in Twilight, in 2009 MTV Movie Awards. He presented at the 81st Academy Awards on February 2009. He was also voted "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2009 by Glamour magazine.
