Men and women are inherently different when it comes to what they consider romantic.Romance is typically associated with what women want in their relationship. The word has a connotation that is affiliated with what men should do in a relationship. But romance goes the other way too.The way that men desire romance is completely different than the way women do however. Men are not seeking to be swept off their feet with rose pedals and candles. Flowers given to a guy would feel kind of awkward. A box of fine chocolates is more likely to be eaten in one bite than they are to be savored. So what do men consider as romantic for themselves?
To us men, romance ismore about the thought and the activity that matters. If something is given to us or an activity is planned around our likes then THAT is romantic to us. Something such as Rock Climbing! What can be more fun (or romantic) than spending several hours with your girl hoisted up on a rope trying to reach a summit? You get to show off your athleticism (or at least laugh when you fall from the rocks) and you get to see your girl do the same. Spending time together having fun (and getting a workout) can't get much better. To men, it's not so much of the mushiness of romance that gets us, but the willingness to partake in something within our world. With romance, women like to be pursued, but men simply like to be joined. We're simple. And to us, that's romantic.
