In this way the ruby rings have to be kept in a small cup that has been filled with warm water and liquid soap. The rings have to be soaked for a total time of 10 minutes. It will help to take off the grime that gets settled all around the ruby as well as within the setting.
After the rings have been kept like this for 10 minutes, they have to be taken out and have to be scrubbed gently with a toothbrush and a soft brush. It is to be seen that the metal setting does not get scratched.
Once, it is done the ruby rings have to be again cleaned with warm water and then dried using a soft towel. The rubies have to be polished with a towel and the metal setting has to be buffed.
Cleaning using the commercial jewelry cleaner
