He firmly believes that people who belong to the smaller cities are no less competent than those who are from metro cities. Living in Amritsar , he didnt have the same advantage over other his peers in Delhi and Mumbai but he didnt let that block his professional and personal goals.

Rupinder Khurana did his schooling from Amritsar. After standard 12th, he wanted to pursue engineering and for that he was required to prepare for the tough engineering entrance exams that the students in India have to appear. After burning the mid-night oil and preparing hard for the exams, she was able to clear the tough exams and managed to secure a seat in a top engineering college in Mumbai. Being their only son, his family would have preferred him to stay with them. But understanding that it was important for him to move to Mumbai to achieve his goals, his parents accepted his decision.

The stream that he chose to pursue was civil engineering. Rupinder Khurana did go through some of the hardships that a one goes through when they move to another city. But once he settled down and got used to the way of life in Mumbai, he started to concentrate on his studies. Living up to the expectations, he did well in his engineering course and came out with flying colors. After completing the course he got his first job with a construction company in Mumbai.

After working for the company for a year Rupinder Khurana joined another company which is a leading name in the construction sector. Apart from higher salary, one of the biggest advantages that he got while working with the new company is that he got an opportunity to move to its hometown. The company was carrying out various projects in Amritsar and on his request the company considered and finally accepted to transfer him to Amritsar .

It was during this period that he got married to a girl chosen by the girl of his choice. The girl was an old class mate of his. With the blessings of the parents from both sides, they finally got married.

In his free time he likes to read and spend time with his family. As he is also fond of travelling, he doesnt miss out any opportunity to go with his family to different places.
