The SOG Seal Team is the official knife of the US Navy Seals. Rigorous testing by the US Government proved beyond a doubt this knife can stand up to all conditions. These tests included tip breaking stress, blade breaking limit, edge retention, handle twist off force, two week salt water immersion tests, chopping, hammering, prying, penetration, low noise and reflectivity evaluation. The bowie style blade of AUS 8A insures toughness and edge retention, and the edge has been honed razor sharp. Serrations are another feature that will help with those extra tough chores.
