Safari Welcome To A New Age Of Mobile Web Browsing
iOS 5, the brand new operating System from Apple features the new Safari browser
that is designed to enhance the browsing experience on iPhone with faster downloads of web pages.
Safari - A Web Browser with a difference
The Safari browser integrated with your iPhone gives you a whole new experience. According to the iPhone developers the web browser itself has been made faster, smarter and better with a bunch of new features to offer an enjoyable browsing experience. Let's take a look at some of its unique features:-
Private Browsing
Reading List Option
Tabbed Browsing
Deep Twitter Integration
Private Browsing
This feature has been recently spotted in the first beta version of iOS5 and although it isn't among the Top 10 features for Apple it is still a very useful feature.
There will be no need to surf the web with some third party app because you can now surf undetected and away from prying eyes with the new Safari within a really short span of time.
All you got to do is enable "private browsing" in the Settings mode and you will see that your browsers color will change from cool blue to black meaning that you are free to surf without anyone knowing it.
Reading List Option
This feature can be termed as the star attraction of the new Safari browser. Very often we find it hard to actually find the article we wish to read among all the advertisements and various other clutters that may be present on the screen. The iPhone development teams knew this was a real hindrance and therefore they have created a great option for you to get rid of all these features - the Reading list option.
All you need to do is select "Add to the Reading List" option from the Settings tab and the article will be stripped of all that extra advertisement and images to give you a cool clean look very much similar to the interface of iBook.
And the best part is that you can sync all your favorite articles between all you devices by adding them to your Reading List.
Tabbed Browsing
Gone are the days when you had to create havoc in the history's tab to read a few articles together because the iPhone developers have finally introduced Tabbed Browsing for all iPhone devices.
Tabbed browsing make swapping between multiple pages a breeze as compared to their previous clumsy system of zooming out and select a page you want to go to and again zoom in to read it.
Deep Twitter Integration
The iPhone developers know very well that Twitter is a popular application and therefore they have integrated or you can say added an option for you to post tweets from within your mobile browser itself.
All you need to do is select "Tweet from the menu" and Apple will automatically add your GPS location, send notification to the people on your contact list and of course tweet.
