Samsung Tv Review
Samsung TV offers so many options that it is nearly impossible to look at their entire line of TVs and not be impressed
. They have come a long way in the last two decades or so to become one of the premiere brands on the market today.
When considering buying a Samsung TV there are so many options to pick from that we have decided that a nice little Samsung walk-through might be in order. Hopefully this will better inform you, the reader, as to what Samsung has to offer you as a viewer. So sit back, grab a beverage and let's get to it.
The plasma TVs that Samsung produces begins with the series 4. These are considered the "low-end" in picture quality at only 720p. What this means is that the high def picture is slightly less high def. Hardly anyone can really tell the difference right off though. The price range on these TVs is between $900 and $700 and the sizes range from 42" to 50". Not too bad as far size goes.
The top of the Samsung plasma line would be the series 8. These monsters start with a 50" screen and keep growing until they reach a whopping 58". They are all 1080p, which is the clearest picture currently available and come with an astounding 30,000,000:1 Mega Contrast. Basically this is just another way of saying that the picture looks really, REALLY good.
LED HDTV is known for its ripping contrast and awesome reliability, Samsung has done a lot to lower costs in its series 7 TVs and made a great product. These LEDs produced by Samsung TV range in price from $2-3,000 and for the picture quality and the buck, they are well worth it.
The top of the line as far as LED HDTVs that Samsung TV has to offer are the series 8 models. These are a big jump in price- on average about $1,000. I really do not see the major differences between the two. Both series 7 and series 8 have roughly the same sizes available and offer 1080p picture. Series 7 offers a contrast of 30,000,000:1 verses series 8's 50,000,000:1 contrast. Is that contrast significant? Maybe to some, but the price significance is definitely noticeable to all.
The lower end of Samsung TV would be the LCD TVs. Traditionally, these models are lighter and thinner than the others without making your wallet lighter or thinner. They are a good value. The series 3 that Samsung has produced is a solid LCD TV at a solid value price in their series 3. The sizes range from $300 to about $600. These are 720p HDTVs though and while Samsung does a good job with them, they are what they are; a fast inexpensive fix. They are solidly made however and when the series came out, top of the line. The series 6 LCD HDTV that Samsung has put together is by far the best of the LCD TVs they produce. These monsters range in size from 42-65" and have a 1080p picture with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio; respectable for an LCD to say the least. Overall, for an LCD TV I'd give them a top rating.
Samsung continues to provide quality products that meet or exceed their customers' expectations. Who know where the future will take TV technology? Remember to find the HDTV that suits your needs and your budget. Samsung has provided a large selection of choices that can do both.
