San Antonio carries a rich Texan history and is best known for the famous Alamo

. This city has increased in size during past 35 years, making it the countries seventh largest city. It is well known as a large city with a small town feel. San Antonio is the biggest city north of the Mexican border, which is no surprise that this city presents with a dominant Mexican feel. The most recent architecture is designed with Spanish flavor as well as Tex-Mex being the favored cuisine. When visitors arrive at the airport they are greeted by a band of mariachis, and this fun filled festive city has made San Antonio a sought after convention city. In addition the river walk in historic downtown makes this attractive for residents and tourists.

Hundreds of established families have resided for generations in this town. The beautiful San Antonio River Walk is the hotspot of the city and is lined with restaurants and shops.

Fiesta season displays the staggering cypress trees which line the sidewalks with an array of colored lights which hang over the bridge. This town is presents a laid back atmosphere and every occasion calls for a party. The Majestic Theatre known for its twilight sky ceiling was built in 1929 stands with ornate beauty and is home to many of the best known Broadway shows and the San Antonio symphony.

If you have a taste for something old and something new San Antonio has something for everyone. This city is famous for its Tower of the Americas which is a staggering 750 foot structure and the Alamo Plaza and Sea World of Texas.
