It may not seem like it, but now is the best time to return to school if you're a single mom

. In this upside down world we live in, with its political turmoil, economic crises, and horrible job market, it seems like there is little hope for people in certain trapping situations. There is hope, and as a matter of fact many single mothers who have decided to go back to school have been delightfully surprised with the jobs they are able to get. They are able make more money and a work around people that really enjoy their work. Hard work is worth it and so is going to college.

This may come as a shock for many single mothers that there is a better life out there for you. We all know how challenging it can be to take care of your children, hold down a job and go to school. With school expenses going up every year college, text books and tuition are becoming almost out of reach for many single mothers. It is so important to stay one step ahead of inflation, which can help you not worry about money as often as you are right now.

Some single mothers may not need any further education, and have a successful career they are happy with. However, in these troubling times, we all could use an economic boost anyway. This opportunity is more than likely here to stay, especially with the stimulus packaging giving women more money so they can go to and continue their education.

Companies are now giving away a $10,000 scholarship for mothers that can help you pay for your school. This money can be used for anything that you wish. However, it is wise to use this money on school so you can graduate without having to owe money to any lending institution that helps you pay for your school while you're in college.

Whether you receive aid from either your financial aid office or a scholarship, this is like a grant in fact it never has to be returned to the originator. If you do get a grant from your financial aid office, you will never have to pay this money back like you would if you decided to get financial aid. It is a free gift from the government to you.
