Furthermore, telecom sector in India is witnessing new heights with GSM operators adding a whopping 13.5 million mobile subscribers in August 2010 taking the total tally to 481 million subscribers. In addition, according to the telecom sector authority, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the wireless user base rose by 2.66 percent to 652.42 million in July 2010. The telecom sector in India has been recording new heights ever since the roll-out of the third generation (3G) services.
