Season of the Witch is a 2011 movie directed by Dominic Sena, the same director who also made the films "Kalifornia", "Gone in 60 Seconds", "Swordfish", and "Whiteout" famous and produced by Alex Gartner and Charles Roven. Season of the Witch will be distributed by Rogue.

Season of the Witch is stars by Nicolas Cage ("The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans"), Ron Perlman ("Crave" and "I Sell The Dead"), Stephen Campbell Moore ("Burlesque Fairytales" and "The History Boys"), Robert Sheehan ("Cherrybomb" and "Summer of the Flying Saucer") and Claire Foy ("The Miracle" and the plays "Top Girls").

Season of the Witch is about the Black Plague which raged across 14th century Europe, one barve knight Lavey (Nicolas Cage), is tasked with carrying away a girl (Claire Foy) thought of being the witch who is the cause for the plague. Feeling she is falsely charged, knight Lavey and a group of wary followers fight through a mystical and deceitful landscape to a hallowed place where her innocence can be shown and Europe's nuisance can be lifted. Unbeknownst to Lavey, even darker forces lie ahead of them...

Season of the Witch will be released on theaters on January 07, 2011.
