Closed communication is when your ex really doesn't want to talk to you or have anything to do with you. This usually means she's not calling you back or she's not initiating any contact. Closed communication means you're more likely on the indifferent level.

Open communication, however, shows that your ex wants you back in his/her life, tooat least to some degree. This definitely counts as a good sign because it shows he/she is still thinking about you. Not to mention, your ex is showing he/she still cares about you, too. This provides for great opportunities because there's still some firewood that could be rekindled when provided with the right encouragement.
