Self Defense Products-Rechargeable Runt Stun Gun-How To Use It

Stun guns are the second most widely used self defense product in the world second only to pepper sprays in popularity. On average they are close to 90 percent effective. Stun devices have a long track record with law enforcement agencies worldwide. In the last 10 years or so they have made the move into the civilian community with great success. The runt stun gun is a great example why they are so successful.

It is small at 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 inch inside its' holster which when attached to your belt looks like a Blackberry or other mobile device. It is easy to use: here's how.

1. Make sure the power switch is on. The red indicator light will light up and then push the switch and you'll hear and see an electrical discharge between the two metal prongs. Do not touch the prongs while firing.

2. The runt has four built-in Ni-MH cylindrical rechargeable batteries. These batteries are

different in that they have no memory accumulation so it's not necessary to discharge them

before recharging. You should recharge the stun gun at least every two months even if you

haven't used it to stun someone.

3. On the bottom of the rechargeable runt slide the plug until fully extended. Plug it into an

electrical outlet for 12 hours. The red light on the bottom will blink while it's charging and

turn to green when it's fully charged.

4. Disconnect from the outlet. Then the gun is ready to use.

The standard charge is 10 to 12 hours. This stun weapon can be recharged over 500 times and each time it is good to fire 300 to 500 times.

A 3 to 5 second application of the stun gun will cause loss of balance and muscle control and mental confusion. It depletes the blood sugars in the body of the assailant so he has no energy left. A 1 to 2 second application will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state. A half second application will startle the assailant and give him some pain, muscular contraction and shock.

The runt stun gun is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of kids. Misuse can be a felony. Only use it in self defense.

When are you getting one?

If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The "other guy" is thinking the same thing and to him you are that "other guy". There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!
