Self Defense Products-the Three Most Popular For Women

When it comes to defending themselves many women have a hard time with deadly force

. Certainly some women carry handguns, but most have gone to the nonlethal alternative-self defense products. There are literally thousands of them out there in different categories like stun guns, pepper sprays and tasers to choose from.

Recently many manufacturers have started developing and marketing products that cater specifically to women. Most notably is taser brand developing the C-2 which is specifically for women. Many stun guns and pepper sprays have pink as one of their color choices.

Self defense products are as I said a nonlethal alternative to deadly force. Their purpose is to give you time to escape from a serious situation where you feel threatened. This may be anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes depending on which product you using.

There may be some pain involved for the assailant but is not long-lasting.

So out of all the choices out there, which ones are the best specifically for women? In my four years of experience dealing with self defense products as a distributor my observations are here.

The C-2 taser is one hundred percent effective. It is the most expensive of the alternatives. But you get what you pay for. It shoots out two darts up to 15 feet away. And has as much if not more stopping power than a 9 mm handgun.

Next is the Mace pepper gun which carries more OC (oleoresin capsicum) than most pepper sprays. And it has a range of 25 feet. It can be used against multiple attackers because it has seven 25 foot shots available.

The next most popular is the pretender stun gun. This stun gun looks exactly like a camera cell phone but is a 4.5 million volt stun gun. Women love it.

These three self defense products have historically been the most popular among women. They all offer a pink color choice. They are all very effective, small, easy to handle, easy to conceal and they all work. When are you getting one?
