Putting the financial responsibility into your own hands can be a big challenge in

being a self employed individual, but if you are able to achieve success, the rewards are really rewarding.

As a self employed individual devotes his time in working for himself, he is in effect taking the responsibility of creating his own financial security. It can be quite scary, but since you are working for your own, you are likely to become more determined to succeed and the results could bring you to the lifestyle that you set for yourself.

This became true for many self employed individuals who took the risk and had successfully overcome their fears. Sure, being self employed allows you to be your own boss, to work at a flexible time and perhaps go on a trip that you've planned for years, but it certainly doesn't mean that you are free from hard work and the long haul of doing business matters on your own.

You are a self employed individual when you make a living out of your own trade or business. This was previously deemed as something that was not a solution to financial instability, but if there's a lesson to be learned from the recent events, it's that even our jobs and our pay checks may also be at risk.

A self employed individual has total control of his own business, nothing to lose when he works hard enough or when he spends most of his time working on it as he will ultimately reap the long term rewards. This can put him in the best position to succeed. Isn't this a good step to financial security?

Being a self employed individual doesn't mean that you have to sit around most of the time as you will no longer clock in for a 9-5 job. On the contrary, you may need to work hard enough and even spend sleepless nights in starting off your own venture. But all these things wouldn't matter anymore since you are building something you would be proud of.

A self employed individual will pour out his heart into something that he loves to do, rather than delegating it to someone else. Nothing can ever provide the feeling of self empowerment than the financial success found from self employment.
