A company that doesn't offer any sort of rewrites at all is one you want to stay away from. It's a given that the writer isn't psychic and might not be able to know exactly what you're going for, and it's not uncommon that you have to bang the kinks out a bit here and there, so look for a company that takes enough pride in their work that they'll be willing to have another go at it if you're not completely satisfied.

Pay

Half up front, half at the end, or, pay in thirds. These are the only real payment plans you can trust with most SEO companies. A business that wants it all up front... Well, you're taking something of a risk if it's a larger project.
