The annual migration of the Serengeti National Park covers around 1.5 million of white bearded wildebeest, some 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 gazelles. This is by the far the longest and largest overland migration in all of Africa.

While these migrations take place all year round, the wildebeest migration takes place between the months of November to July of next year. On the other hand, the zebra migration takes place between May to June. Thus, for people who want to witness this phenomenon, the best way to do it is to camp inside Serengeti.
