Shih Tzu is one of the dog breed that dates back centuries where it was actually called as Tibet lion dog. They are very active and alert and are good choice for pet and watchdogs. But still they are hard when it comes to train them and they can be easily spoiled. So basic Shih Tzu training is essential to understand their characteristics and train them accordingly.

However, you have to begin the training session once you bring the dog home for the first time. This will be helpful to the dog to be socialized with other dogs, children and even to the strangers. Using negative attitude will result fear in the dog with you and make them disobey you. But with the positive reinforcement, your pet will love and trust you. As you are done with these basic trainings, you can head for other commands with some tricks. Plus the training should be fun and of the enjoyment.
